A Strategy Meeting (sometimes referred to as a Strategy Discussion) is normally held following an Assessment which indicates that a child has suffered or is likely to suffer Significant Harm.
The purpose of a Strategy Meeting is to determine whether there are grounds for a Section 47 Enquiry.
In relation to adults:
A multi-agency safeguarding meeting with the relevant individuals from key agencies involved, and with the Adult at Risk where appropriate, to agree how to proceed with a safeguarding referral.
