In relation to children:
The term Keyworker is sometimes used to describe the member of staff in a Children's Home who has special responsibility for an individual child. This role may also be described as the 'Linkworker'.
The term Keyworker was also previously used to describe the social worker responsible for a child who is subject to a multi-agency Child Protection Plan.
In relation to adults:
A person responsible for working closely with people who use services to ensure the coordination of their care/support plan and act as the main contact for everyone involved.
