Framework for the Assessment of Children in Need and Their Families
IThe Framework for Assessment of Children in Need and their Families, issued in 2000 by the Department of Health, provides guidance on Initial Assessments and Core Assessments of a Child in Need, including the timescales within which such assessments should be undertaken.
The framework also provides guidance on assessment tools and should be used,for example, in assessments of adoption support needs.External links
